How do I install my LiteClik®30 RXT SitRite™ Comfort Insert?

To ensure a better fit for smaller infants, we recommend using your car seat's infant head and body support cushions. The LiteClik®30 XT / RXT SitRite™ Comfort Insert consists of a removable newborn support insert and travel high wedge insert for better positioning of infants.

• The newborn support insert (gray insert 1) and the travel high wedge (black insert 2) are meant to be used together until it is no longer needed to position the child. As your child grows, removal of the newborn support insert (gray insert 1) and then followed by the travel high wedge (black insert 2), may be necessary to be properly positioned so the lowest harness slot is at or below the shoulders.
• Removal of all the inserts is acceptable if the child is snugly positioned with the harness strap at or below the shoulders.

A few tips for smaller infants,

• To ensure a newborn or smaller infant is secured properly with the harness at or below the child’s shoulders, the complete LiteClik®30 XT / RXT SitRite™ Comfort Insert is recommended for use.
  Confirm that the buckle strap is in the correct slot and the harness strap is in the appropriate slot to properly position the child.
• Make sure the infant's hips are pushed all the way back and flush with the child restraint backrest.
• Removal of the headrest insert may be necessary. Slouching forward could block the airway and prevent the child from breathing correctly.
• Make sure the body support cushion, newborn support insert, and travel high wedge insert are lined up together and that the back cushion flap of the body cushion is in line with the lowest harness slots for proper alignment.
